1.5 Customer / Participant: a user who books or participates in a service offered through the platform.
1.6 Service Provider: an independent coach, guide, instructor, event organizer, or other provider offering cycling-related services via the platform.
1.7 Services: recreational or sport-related cycling services including but not limited to rides, tours, coaching, training sessions, workshops, events, and related activities.

  1. Role of Veloyou

2.1 Veloyou operates as an online marketplace connecting customers with independent service providers.
2.2 Veloyou does not organize, manage, or directly provide the cycling services, unless explicitly stated.
2.3 The agreement for the actual activity is made between the Customer and the Service Provider.
2.4 Veloyou acts as an intermediary for booking, information, and payment processing.

  1. Applicability

3.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to all use of the Veloyou platform.
3.2 Additional terms from Service Providers may apply to specific services.
3.3 In case of conflict, the terms of the Service Provider may apply to the activity itself.

  1. User Accounts

4.1 Some features require users to create an account.
4.2 Users must provide accurate and complete information.
4.3 Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
4.4 Veloyou reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts in case of misuse or violation of these terms.

  1. Listings and Services

5.1 Service Providers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings.
5.2 Veloyou does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or availability of the listed services.
5.3 Service Providers are responsible for complying with applicable laws, insurance requirements, and safety regulations.

  1. Bookings

6.1 When a customer books a service through the platform, a contract is formed between the customer and the Service Provider.
6.2 Veloyou may facilitate the booking process and provide confirmation.
6.3 Service Providers may accept or decline booking requests depending on availability.

  1. Payments

7.1 Payments may be processed through the Veloyou platform.
7.2 Veloyou may collect payments on behalf of Service Providers.
7.3 Veloyou may charge a platform or service fee.
7.4 Payment terms may vary depending on the specific service.

  1. Cancellations and Refunds

8.1 Cancellation policies are determined by the individual Service Provider unless stated otherwise.
8.2 Customers must review the cancellation terms before booking.
8.3 Veloyou may assist with refund processing but is not responsible for the policies set by Service Providers.

  1. Participation and Health

9.1 Cycling activities can involve physical exertion and potential risks.
9.2 Participants confirm they are medically fit to participate.
9.3 Participants must use appropriate equipment and follow all safety instructions.
9.4 Helmets and safety equipment may be mandatory depending on the activity.

  1. Liability

10.1 Veloyou and Sportlead B.V. are not responsible for the execution of services provided by independent Service Providers.
10.2 Veloyou shall not be liable for injuries, damages, accidents, or losses arising from participation in any activity booked through the platform.
10.3 Service Providers are responsible for their own insurance and liability coverage.
10.4 Nothing in these terms excludes liability where such exclusion is not permitted by law.

  1. Insurance

11.1 Participants are responsible for ensuring they have adequate personal insurance.
11.2 Service Providers are responsible for maintaining appropriate professional and liability insurance where required.

  1. Reviews and Content

12.1 Users may submit reviews and feedback.
12.2 Reviews must be truthful and respectful.
12.3 Veloyou reserves the right to remove inappropriate or misleading content.

  1. Intellectual Property

13.1 All intellectual property rights related to the Veloyou platform remain the property of Sportlead B.V.
13.2 Users may not copy, distribute, or exploit platform content without permission.

  1. Privacy

  1. Force Majeure

15.1 Veloyou and Service Providers shall not be held responsible for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control, including extreme weather, government restrictions, natural disasters, or technical failures.
